A Thursday update

Today was a beach and recreation day. After 5 days of ministry in the heat, it was a delight to go to a private beach. We enjoyed swimming and lounging. Some of our group went for a boat ride. Others searched for shells or read under the shade.

After beach time we went to a local place for a pizza party. This is called Maranatha. It is the work of Daniel who has served with Praying Pelican Ministries. He can serve meals and sells local peoples art work.

His mother roasts Haitian coffee beans. The coffee is wonderful. We are bringing back 15 bags of coffee to sell to help Daniel and his business.

Coffee will be for Sale on Sunday at church for $15 a bag
