Jeffrey: Good morning Haiti. Actually felt cool temp last night. New day awaits.
At the church in Gressier each morning we make some visits to people in the area around the church. This is to reach out to those who do not have a church and let them know the church welcomes them. For those that do attend it is to create deeper relationships. Going house to house is a new experience for many and good to do. The picture is of Theresa visiting with children. Other visits were on the street or in a persons home.
This week we had the opportunity to participate in trash pickup. The beautiful thing about this ministry is it shows people how important it is to take care of God’s creation. It is also such a great relationship builder, as locals are quick to jump in once they see us picking up trash!
Jeffrey:
Another service ministry we did was trash pick up on the roads near the church. Many church members and children in the church helped. The purpose was to show that the church cares for the community and is setting an example for.others to follow. Here are some photos of trash cleanup.
Lynn:
What’s on the supper menu? How about goat. It was delicious!!
Of course more computer lessions and a video (unable to post) of the children thanking both Nancy Nelson and Whirlpool for the laptops.
