Sunday Church
by Meghan Frezza | June 17, 2018 7:38 PM
We had such a great morning at church this morning. It was incredible to be able to spend time worshipping the same God even amidst language barriers. God is the ONLY thing that breaks worldly barriers and we saw that today in Church. We cannot wait to start ministry tomorrow!
Jeffrey: Attended church in Gressier, Haiti this morning. Beautifulchurch with joyous music. Sermon on the need for peace in our families and our world. Church was full. Thankful for the large fans.
Lynn: Today was a hot day but not as hot as yesterday. Yesterday it reached 104. Glad it was a rest day! We are currently waiting for dinner. We are relaxing on our “back balcony”. There is a picture of our dining room with the food table. For lunch we had Haitian pumpkin soup. Yum!! The last is the view we are looking at right now. We are facing north and see the northern part of Haiti in the distance. The adults are trying to adjust to the heat, the kids seem to be adjusting just fine! They are making friends with the kids at the orphanage.
Hope all is well at home. Tomorrow we go to work with a church. Will keep you posted and send pictures
Lynn: I’m sending one more of closing worship. Storm clouds and lightening and worshiping an awesome God!
Note the clean up crew in the second row of pictures.
Jeffrey: Fresh fruit. Including coconuts. Brandon Dick was happy
